Sandre Lowers MSc

Negotiation Strategist

As the leading Director of The Shelf Ja. and a past student of the Mona School of Business and Management (MSBM), with MSc. Procurement Management (distinction), Sandre has over thirteen (13) years of experience in an ISO-based FMCG supply chain environment, as well as over four (4) years of consultancy experience in public sector procurement policy. As an independent consultant, he provides procurement and analytical guidance (including research) and in recent years he trained: 

- Over 700 procurement practitioners 2021-2022 on Procurement Performance Management.

- Approximately 50 suppliers on Procurement Ethics 2023. 

- 275 Procurement Managers and Directors on Contract Negotiations June to August 2023.

- Approximately 75 suppliers on Procurement Ethics 2024. ​

Noel Cowell PhD

Retired from the University of the West Indies in 2020 after teaching for over 35 years and being the former Head of Department, Dr Cowell received his PhD from the University of Toronto. Since retirement, he has headed the Behavioural Science and General Management Unit of Mona School of Business and Management. He is a researcher, trainer and lecturer with interest and expertise in Industrial Relations, Negotiating Strategy, Human Resource Management and Labour, and Employment Law. He has designed and delivered courses to trade unions, corporate managers and employees at various levels as well as to government employees across the Caribbean for over 30 years, and also designed and delivered graduate and undergraduate courses across a range of management disciplines including, Negotiations, Employment Relations and Labour, and Employment Law book chapters.​

Lisa has an MBA Finance and Marketing (Distinction) UWI - Mona and BSc Industrial Engineering (First Class Honours), UWI, St. Augustine, Trinidad and held Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. She is a certified Coach with training in Breakthrough Performance Coaching, Energy Leadership Assessments and Positive Intelligence and was awarded in the“101 Most Fabulous GLOBAL Coaching Leaders” Category - World HRD Congress Feb
